v0.16a — Damage Skins, Gacha & QoL

Hey Maplers,

Maplestory: Null.Team v0.16a is live. This patch adds Damage Skins, cleans broken chairs out of gacha, retires Action Pets, and ships a batch of grinding / market QoL. Full notes are also on Gumii → Update Notes and the town News Stand.

How to update (NullLauncher)

1. Fully quit MapleStory (close the game window).
2. Open NullLauncher from your install folder (download it from the Download page if you do not have it yet).
3. If asked, point it at the folder with Maplestory Null.exe.
4. Click Play and wait until the update finishes — do not close the launcher mid-run.
5. Launch and log in. The window title should show v0.16a.

First-time install? Use the full setup on the Download page, then keep using NullLauncher for later patches.

Damage Skins

• Open the picker with !damageskin, or use the reusable Damage Skin Selector from Cash.
• Browse skins, buy with mesos, and apply any skin you own anytime.
• Town Gachapon can drop that town’s Damage Skin Box for exclusive skins.

Gachapon & pets

• Broken unfinished chairs are gone from gacha.
• Action Pets (Demon / Miho line) are retired from gacha and the Cash Shop.
• Exotic Pet Surprise Box and Cash Shop Surprise stay available in SHOP.
• Updated pools are on the Gachapon and Damage Skins handbook pages.

Quality of life

• Owl of Minerva lists Chaos Scrolls and Clean Slates; Free Market search can find shops selling them.
• !whodrops shows monsters and drop chance %.
• Bandit / Shadower inventory mesos last about 5 minutes; other jobs about 3 minutes.
• Timed Miu Miu / Chalkboard stay reusable until expiry; Store Remote rejects expired stores.
• Pets loot while you move and attack; potions work while attacking; AP/SP clicks feel snappier.
• GM map buffs last about 60 minutes and give Shadow Partner to every job on the map.

In-game

• Gumii → Update Notes and Server Information (now v0.16a).
• Town News Stand shows the latest notes.
• See Damage Skins and Combat & grinding feel in the handbook.
